What does your document-intake queue cost?

Plug in daily document volume, average handle time per document, and hourly cost of the specialist keying. See the monthly number, plus the potential savings if 70% of the queue is auto-extracted and only reviewed. No email required. No lead capture. Math is visible.

Reality check: the 70% default auto-extract rate assumes a reasonably structured intake queue (mostly invoices, POs, and signed forms from a predictable set of vendors). Heavily handwritten or wildly heterogeneous queues run lower (40–55%). Heavily templated queues (same 10 vendors, same forms) run higher (80–90%).

What to do with the number: compare it against the all-in cost of (a) another specialist, (b) an automated intake pipeline with a reviewer on staff, or (c) keeping the current pace and absorbing the opportunity cost of backlog. See data-ops overview.
